Sautéed Pears, Broccolini, & Kale
Ingredients Used:
All other ingredients may be found at your local health foods store!
This side dish goes great with a big, pasture-raised steak! I prefer to add sea salt once I have added the kale at the end. Also, I have used many different cooking fats for this dish (coconut oil, duck fat, & ghee) and I find that ghee pairs the best with the pears, pun intended!
Add the ghee to a medium pan over medium-high heat. Once evenly coated, add the pears and sauté one side for approximately 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
Flip each pear individually to start browning the other side. Once flipped, immediately add the broccolini, stirring after 3-5 minutes or until the pears are golden brown on the other side.
Add the Kale and sea salt to taste, stirring occasionally (approximately 5 minutes).
Serve with your choice of protein.
