Welcome!

My name is Dylan Werth and welcome to my food blog! I gained an interest in cooking around September 2016. I made my Instagram (@dylans.pantry) strictly devoted to preparing meals two years ago in March 2017. This is right around the time I started my quest to study nutrition independently, as most politically correct nutrition courses and textbooks I have come across do not meet my individual needs.

I have learned that there is no one diet that’s suitable for everyone since everyone has unique individual metabolic needs. I have studied the works of many great pioneers in nutrition such as Weston A. Price, Sally Fallon, William Wolcott, Doug Kauffman, and Paul Chek, among others. I have gained and successfully applied enough knowledge, particularly around the Candida diet, to drop from 260 pounds post-knee surgery to 190 pounds, then adding 25 pounds of muscle throughout the last 2 and 1/2 while simultaneously restoring my gut health.

My hopes are by the end of this year I will provide enough information on this site so that all metabolic types can find a nutrition strategy that meets their needs. I invite you to join me on this journey as I share my knowledge with the world.

Aside from cooking(and eating!), my favorite things include exercise, music, art, traveling, intricately designed films and novels, people watching, and hiking.

Still Curious?
