Ground Beef Salsa Skillet
Ingredients Used:
All other ingredients may be found at your local Whole Food’s or Sprouts. In California, the only stores that I’ve seen to sell unpasteurized dairy are Whole Food’s and Sprouts. Whenever buying dairy, always look for 100% grass-fed or pasture raised first, then unpasteurized, and then organic. Same goes for beef products as well. Pasture raised is ideal for any animal products.
This recipe would go great with some organic grain-free tortilla chips cooked in avocado oil!
In a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet, add the ground beef over medium heat. Add sea salt and pepper to taste.
Immediately add the onions and garlic. Once the ground beef has a nice sear on the bottom, begin chopping it up with a stainless steel spatula.
Once the beef is about 50% done, add the jalapeños and 1/8 cup of cilantro.
Once the ground beef is about 90% done, add the tomatoes, cheese, and remaining cilantro.
Remove from heat and let the cheese melt until the desired doneness.
Serve.
